The first step: Self screen

Not sure if what you're experiencing is PMDD or PME?

IAPMD’s Premenstrual Disorders (PMDs) Self-Screen is a free, evidence-based assessment designed to help you recognize whether your symptoms align with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) or Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME). This tool is not diagnosis. Instead, it’s a helpful first step in better understanding your cycle-related symptoms and preparing for a conversation with your healthcare provider.

Remember, the best way to prove you have PMDD at the doctor’s office is by tracking your symptoms for at least 2 consecutive months.
